Sinotruk Develops CNG-Powered Dump Truck

Sinotruk Hova 60 (non-CNG model)

The RD Department of Sinotruk Qingdao Heavy Industry Co., Ltd has recently developed a new type of compressed natural gas (CNG) engine for wide-body dump trucks used by the mining industry. The engine has been built for the HOVA60 model truck, up to now only available as diesel-powered. Four CNG cylinders are placed to the right of the left-mounted cab, overcoming any need to lengthen the vehicle.
