An MNGL fuelling facility in Pune

Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited (MNGL) has set about meeting the rising demand for compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel for Pune’s rapidly expanding natural gas vehicle market, by entering into lease arrangements for privately owned land on which to establish new CNG outlets, reports Indian Express. The company aims to set up additional CNG retail outlets across PMC and PCMC areas and adjoining Chakan, Talegaon and Hinjewadi areas and is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the long-term lease of land owned by individuals, corporates, public sector enterprises, undertakings, semi-government and government bodies. MNGL  reportedly plans to add a further four outlets to the fifteen already in operation across the city.
