ANGVA 2011 : Natural Gas for Vehicles – Driving the Future Cleaner – Beijing, China, 18–20 October 2011

The Asia Pacific Natural Gas Vehicles Association has published a comprehensive preliminary program for its fourth international conference and exhibition. The opening Plenary Session will present the theme of the conference – Driving the Future Cleaner – under the guidance of chairperson Zhang Jianwei, Vice President of China Automotive Technology Research Center (CATARC), host for the event. CATARC has been promoting environmentally friendly and energy efficient vehicles in China with the running of the Secretariat of the National Fuel Efficient and New Energy Vehicle Key Project and the Secretariat of the National Clean Vehicle Initiative.
Following the plenary session will be several keynote addresses:

- Report on Donghae Statement (Speaker: Mr. Kim Hak-Ki, Mayor of Donghae City, Korea)
- Natural Gas as an Advanced Motor Fuel in the world (Speaker: Gagne Jean-Francois, Chairman of IEA-AMF)
- OEM NGV Development and Planning (Speaker: Anhui Ankai Automobile Co., Ltd)
- Heavy-Duty Natural Gas Engines : The Next 5 Years (Speaker: Patric Ouellette?Westport Innovations)
- Prospect of Biomethane as a Vehicle Fuel (Speaker: Ye Chun, Atlas Copco)
- Experience in operating the world’s largest fleet of Heavy-duty CNG trucks (Speaker: Sagawa, Japan)

Delegates can join a technical tour to visit the refueling stations of Beijing Public Transportation Group for an introduction to the technical features of their NGVs and refueling stations, and learn of their day-to-day operating experience on site.
ANGVA will follow the event with a CNG Cylinder Safety Workshop.
