Renault Kan Go on CNG in Europe

Renault is to offer its popular Kangoo ‘leisure activity vehicle’ with a CNG option in Europe from October of this year. The 1.6 litre Euro 4 compliant bi-fuel engine delivers a 20% reduction on CO2 emissions over gasoline when operated on CNG.

The Kangoo is a popular vehicle in Europe and South America, selling more than 1.6 million units since its launch in 1997.  A CNG Kangoo is currently available in Argentina using a factory endorsed conversion system.

The CNG Kangoo will retail in France at a € 2,500 premium over the gasoline version.
